About Large Numbers
Large Numbers is a fast, multi-threaded calculator in a table-based format that combines the convenience of a spreadsheet with the simplicity of a classic calculator. Add numbers line by line, modify any part of your expression on the fly, and get instant updates without extra taps.
The app is built for real-world scenarios: totaling a restaurant bill, checking homework, calculating long expressions with brackets and exponents, or working with massive numbers that standard calculators simply can’t handle.
Under the hood, it uses arbitrary-precision arithmetic, meaning you aren't limited by the size of the number. Large Numbers correctly handles operator precedence, parentheses, decimals, negative numbers, and exponents (including negative exponents; square roots are supported for fractional powers).
Key Features:
Table-based input with step-by-step editing;
Automatic real-time recalculation;
Operations: +, −, ×, ÷, ^ and expressions with parentheses;
3 independent workspaces (M1, M2, M3);
One-tap copying for both expressions and results;
Progress indicator and execution time for complex calculations;
Universal support for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Large Numbers moves away from the outdated "plastic button" skeuomorphism of old-school apps, offering a modern, fast, and flexible tool for your daily mathematics.
