In Rock, Paper, Checkmate you autoplay chess against a computer opponent named Compie. Choose your weapon (either rock, paper, or scissors) by "making" either a rock, paper, or scissors hand-gesture where your device's rear-camera can see it.
If you win the round of Rock Paper Scissors, a smart AI will make a chess move for you and a dumb AI will make a chess move for Compie. If you lose...the opposite will happen! If the round of Rock Paper Scissors ends in a draw, "normal" AIs will make moves for both you and Compie. Keep going until the thrilling (Checkmate!) or dejecting (Stalemate :-( ) conclusion of the game!
This auto-chess game doesn't store any stats and no data is collected. Rock, Paper, Checkmate is a demonstration of computer vision, machine learning models, and augmented reality. Enjoy!
