Marketing team has some work cut out for itself
App is not quite there yet in terms of driver base. I’ve had to call in a request and yet still didn’t get the ride. I’ll still give it five stars to show my support for the drivers and the mission.

Avoid Surge Pricing While Supporting Union Cabbies
This app is a good start and I hope it encourages people to use union cabs in San Diego instead of Lyft or Uber. However, it still needs work before it gets there because it feels more like a basic dispatcher instead of a full on Lyft replacement. I didn’t get an estimate for my ride and I didn’t get to pay in the app. When I hailed a ride at 11pm, it failed to find a driver on my first try. A driver was found on my second try, but the app doesn’t provide an assurance that it’ll keep searching for a rider when I switch to another app while I wait. What I like about Lyft is it shows a progress widget on the Lock Screen (or Dynamic Island), would like this app to do the same. It was confusing when I was providing the destination or pickup location. Didn’t know which one I was entering and I ended up providing a route from my house to my house. It also was tedious to input a specific address. Would rather the app to look up businesses and my contacts. So yeah, some kinks to work out and some more features to add to catch up to the main players, but I hope they do cause I want to see cabbies earn their pay instead of tech bro executives.
