Support Lebanese women entrepreneurs and buy through TWE App! Women from 22 regions in Lebanon are now professional thanks to the Teaching Women Entrepreneurship Program which is implemented by USPEaK Organization and funded by the Public Affairs Section at the U.S. Embassy Beirut that gave them the knowledge and tools to start their businesses in Agriculture, Food, Beauty, Services and many others. We believe that Women Economic Empowerment is the key to independence, protection and equal rights. Click the category, follow them on their Instagram pages. This application aims to help Lebanese women entrepreneurs to increase page visitors and potential customers. The purpose of the app is to just promote these entrepreneurs.

About the Program
Teaching Women Entrepreneurship Program graduated 744 women who learned about entrepreneurship in a customized curriculum. They learned English for business and enhanced their leadership skills through workshops on public speaking, social entrepreneurship, marketing, conflict resolution, women’s rights, preventing violent extremism, leadership, financial transparency, electoral law, democracy, campaigning, and media communication. Women (Age 20-45) learned online in 22 regions in Lebanon with the facilitation of expert teachers in the field and wise partner Civil Society organizations and municipalities on the national level.
Economic empowerment enables women to become powerful and aware of her rights. Women become more aware of protection measures and legislations. They become leaders who can campaign for their rights and obtain gender equality in all aspects of life. They are reinforced against trafficking and violent extremism. Economic empowerment of women assist her to avoid early marriage and enjoy her childhood.
