The ultimate super fun test of logic under time pressure! Race to find the hidden word! You start with 100 bananas. You lose 1 banana for every guess and 1 banana for every 10 seconds elapsed.
You can play words from 6 letters long all the way up to 16 letters!
"That's preposterous", you say? Fortunately, the monkeys are on your side. Unlike other word games, your guesses don't have to be words. For the first few guesses I recommend jamming on the keys randomly like our mascot, the bi-monocle monkey, would. Letters typed that aren't in the mystery word are replaced on the keyboard by monkeys (DO NOT TOUCH THE MONKEYS unless you're wearing a raincoat) which helps you arrive at the goal word through a process of elimination.
Another thing in your favour is the helpful left and right blinkers that indicate where instances of a given letter are hiding. The combination of these factors gets you thinking on a whole different level to anything else you've ever played & all the while bananas are dropping. It's all somewhat intense but in a good way!
Banana Battle!! Each word has a specific code. Once you solve a word you can copy the code and your score info to paste on your SNS of choice or text to your friends to lay down the challenge to beat your score.
You can play 50,000+ words even when offline. Great to keep you occupied during a long flight!
Don't be too proud to press the definition button: the nature of the game means you'll always arrive at the answer, even for a 16 letter word you've never heard of.
View your history to check your running banana total, open your guess boards for each word played to relive the glory, and send challenges.
Origins of the name "Jamomonkey": It's kind of a double meaning (1) as mentioned above, you jam-on-keys randomly at the start (2) It's also based on "The infinite monkey theorem", which states that a monkey hitting keys at random on a typewriter keyboard for an infinite amount of time will almost surely type any given text, such as the complete works of William Shakespeare. My name's Jamie, but my friends call me Jamo. Jamo + monkey. There you have it, better than any superhero origin story!
