Master the art of combining letters to create words to maximize your points. Each day Gridword presents a new challenge. Each word puzzle is a unique grid and a different set of letter tiles. Each challenge will require different a different strategy to get the most points.
Once you have laid letters on the grid in a valid crossword, don't submit yet as you may be able to increase your points. Using letters twice allows them to be counted twice in your score. Some letters have higher point values than others - so make sure to use them twice as much as possible.
Also don't forget bonuses. When you make a word of at least 5 letters long you will get a bonus for that word. Bonuses are exponential, meaning if you make a word longer by a single letter the value of the bonus will increase by the new length of the word!
Expand your vocabulary and improve your pattern recognition skills with Gridword.
After you submit your puzzle, make sure to share with friends and compete for the top score. A great score may be 60 points one day and the next day a great score could be 130!
Steps to play:
1. Drag the tiles onto the board
2. Rearrange them until you have formed valid words
3. When the puzzle is valid the letters will turn blue and the submit button will become enabled
4. Submit to see your score!
5. Share and compare your score with others
