Welcome to the Greater Iowa City Area HBA's Parade of Homes sponsored by Hills Bank and Urban Acres Real Estate. The Parade will take place 6/10-6/11, 6/13, 6/15, and 6/17-6/18, 2023. You can choose whether to walk through a parade home or view a virtual tour online from the comfort of your own home. Sponsored by MidAmerican Energy, the virtual tour will provide a 360-degree view and video tours of each home, in addition to interviews with many of the builders.
Several homes can only be seen through a virtual tour. Those will be online soon. Other parade homes open to the public June 10 to 18 and will have virtual tours online later in June and July.
Access the virtual tours by clicking on each home under the Homes tab. The virtual tour also is available on the Iowa City Parade of Homes App, sponsored by CBI Bank & Trust. You can revisit your favorite houses all year long, up until the 2024 Iowa City Area HBA Parade of Homes.
- Browse home and business listings for photos, videos, and contact information.
- View the homes and businesses on an interactive map and get directions to your destination.
- Get details on HBA members involved in each phase of the home building process.
- Utilize the quick links offered in the side menu to access information about the local community.
Tickets to attend the Iowa City Area Parade of Homes are $10 and available at each featured parade home.
The Greater Iowa City Area Home Builders Association is here to serve our members. We represent the strength of the local building industry; builders, remodelers, developers, suppliers, designers, engineers, real estate brokers, accountants, and other industry professionals.
Follow these guidelines:
Booties
Wear your booties to keep floors clean in featured homes. Pick up a pair at the first parade home you visit and keep them with you as you tour other homes. No need to put the booties back in the basket.
Don't open
Try to follow the Golden Rule, since each parade house is someone's future home. Be considerate. If a sign says not to open something, don't open that door. Tread lightly and be a good guest.
Not a pit stop
Make a pit stop before you go. There are no public restrooms, to go to the bathroom or wash your hands, at parade homes.
Photos
Ask before you take any photos. Each parade builder and remodeler has put a great deal of time and work into their entry and may not welcome you taking photos.
