Autochek Workshop is an application that allows our Workshop Inspectors or Inspection Administrators to perform several workshop related tasks for our vehicles on our platform.
It allows inspectors to create new inventory and manage already existing ones. By management, they can list and de-list cars unto our marketplace; they can edit car information such as media, make and model, price, features and others. Our inspectors are also allowed to create auctions for eligible vehicles. Customers can then bid on and purchase such auctioned cars.
After creating new inventory on the platform, inspectors then go ahead to carry out regular inspections on them. Regular inspections involves inspecting and generating detailed reports on several aspects of the car such as engine, electrical functionalities, transmissions & clutch, air-conditioning, suspensions & steering, interior & exterior and other additional features. In addition, our inspectors also test drive newly created cars to be sure they're in good condition and work as intended. After such inspection exercises, vehicles can then be listed on our marketplace platform.
The app also allows our inspectors to carry out Pre-Purchase Inspections(PPIs) on already assigned vehicles in order to generate a PPI score. The Autochek platform requires that a vehicle meets a minimum PPI score before it can be listed onto our marketplace. PPIs involve several steps such as vehicle diagnostic analysis, Functional performance tests, under-body inspections, under-bonnet inspections, vehicle history or events, defective items needed to be replaced and lastly a road worthiness test.
It also allows our inspectors to carryout car sourcing operations such as creating and managing sourcing requests.
