The DuBois Volunteer Fire Department - Parade Committee is made up solely of approximately 75 Volunteer Firemen along with their friends and family. These dedicated volunteers work for six months out of the year to put on a festival in the park and the largest Firemen Parade in Western Pennsylvania
The festival in the park is free to the general public: There are no admission charges or charges for entertainment or activities. There are food vendors which are made up primarily of non-profit organizations which use this festival as a way to raise funds and enlighten the community as to the services they offer.
Out mission is to bring back the sense of community to the area. It is also to help the non-profits get their message out to the community at large.
Community Days in the Park brings in several thousand people from all walk of life who live in Western Pennsylvania.
