The TilgentTrust Mobile Wallet, which will be powered by Tilgent Pay, allows new and existing customers of TilgentTrust Bank to access mobile wallet services by use of their mobile phone over Short Messaging Services (SMS) and Mobile Application (Mobile App) channels as well as a Web Portal.
The TilgentTrust Mobile Wallet is being developed out of the need to service the Capital Trust market with a functional mobile wallet product that will help in the process of bringing total financial inclusion to clients and facilitate easier handling of trade.
FEATURES
New Account Opening – Users will be able to sign-up for new mobile wallet and TILGENTTRUST bank accounts through selected user channels.
Deposit and Withdrawal – Users can add funds into their wallet via their TILGENTTRUST bank account or a top-up agent. Withdrawals can be done via the same channels.
Person-to-Person Payments (Online and SMS/APP) – Send and receive payments to other mobile wallet users.
Merchant Payments (Online and SMS/APP) – Make payments to merchants using the SMS, Mobile App and Web portal
Airtime Top-Up (Local mobile phones) – Top-up mobile phones on mobile networks worldwide
Bill Payments – Make payments to selected billers. The billers to be included in the Pilot phase will need to be determined.
Digital Marketplace – A digital marketplace will be established where users can offer E-Commerce products, commodities and services. This marketplace would be tailored towards each local market demand.
