Very buggy app

Rotate display while watching video and layout bugs out. Can’t post comments because the send button is hidden when I type. No option to download for offline viewing. Doesn’t remember location in the video when continuing. Content seems good though so wish they just had a website instead of this buggy app.

I Have Honestly Improved!

As I have signed up to join the PDGA, I was looking at benefits which included a 30-Day Trial with PulseA. Signed up and started watching the videos. Yes, they can be a bit slow and boring for those who have played for a while. But, even though I’ve been playing for years and just couldn’t figure out how to improve my game. I learned so much small details that really add up. I was stuck throwing to a max of 200 feet back-hand and now I’m up to 350 feet. The putting technique’s really improved my game. Friends I play with were asking where I learned to be so accurate. If you are looking for resources to push your self into the next level while currently at a plateau, this is it. *App Developer’s: For the love of god, please decrease the sensitivity on what enables me to click on an individual video when scrolling through the home screen. Every-time I’m scrolling looking at the different videos on the Home Screen, I always click a video when I’m just dragging the screen up and down. Besides that, very happy. Eventually there isn’t much more to learn but just go out and practice. I’ll continue to recommend using PulseA to other plays!

Don’t waste your money

I signed up for the app a year ago. There was little to no content available and forgot to cancel. I saw the charge come through today and immediately reached out to the team to ask for a refund. I explained that I don’t even play disc golf anymore and havent touched the app since the first day. I got an email saying sorry it’s our policy that there are no refunds. That’s pretty garbage honestly. You can’t make an exception? I hope you feel good about taking $40 from someone for absolutely nothing.

HORRIBLE

They bait you into signing up for a trial, and (unlike other disc golf education services) it makes you watch 20 thirty second clips to watch one lesson. Then you cannot cancel your trial through the app that you signed up through. Total gimmick…..sign up for Power Disc Golf Academy, it’s way better. Actual content there with no trickery.

Currently great for beginners in Beta

I was reluctant to purchase because there’s so much info out there on YouTube for free… but for me it wasn’t structured and I often get conflicting advice from different creators. Also YouTubers often use pro level jargon that can be confusing for me. I’ve been playing Disc Golf a little over a year and I struggle to throw over 300 feet. I also struggle with accuracy. I signed up with hopes this would help. I knew something had to be missing in my form that nobody thus far has explained to me. So I’m going back to the basics. My first impression is the app is well designed. The courses are well structured, short enough to keep your attention, with good image quality and very detailed, easily-digestible info. The course material is great for beginners. I started watching back at the most basic fundamentals of stand still throwing, and although I’ve been X-stepping since nearly day one, I am getting good info and learning things I never knew before even at the most basic beginner level. There are a lot of upcoming courses being added, it will be interesting to see how frequently they drop new content.
