This app provides functionality built in to iOS, plus it shows you ads or makes you pay. Here is how to scan a QR code for free without downloading any apps: (1) Save the image to your phone or take a screenshot. (2) View the image in the Photos app or tap the screenshot thumbnail. (3) Tap the icon in the bottom right; it looks like some lines of text with square corners around it. (4) Tap the QR code.
