About SoundEcho

SoundEcho is a memory game with sounds, that is easy to operate and is fully accessible by means of VoiceOver. Not only blind and poor sighted players, but also sighted players will really have fun playing SoundEcho.
The purpose of the game is easy. Spread across the screen you find buttons with a letter, digit or smiley on them. When you click on a button, you hear a sound. If you press two buttons successively and you get the same sound, these buttons will disappear and you found the particular sound. Try to find all sounds with as few clicks as possible.
You can choose between animal sounds and computer sounds and look for 10, 15 or 20 sounds.
SoundEcho integrates Game Center, so you can compare scores, track your achievements and can play against each other with 2 to 4 players real-time.
Don't hesitate to try SoundEcho for free.

Future lesson plans

If I ever start teaching students with visual impairments, I would use this game to see how well they can both distinguish and match sounds. What about adding more categories, like themes they might hear at school such as things in a classroom like riding on the chalkboard? The animal sounds seem kind of immature, but if you’re dealing with someone with cognitive delays, they are great. I like there’s nothing moment, as these students might need all the time they can get to find a match. , And the computer sound, what about having different windows sounds… At least from windows 98 until now. That would allow someone to look back, with your ears, two earlier times of Windows operating system. Pretty fair game, and it would be useful in my career

Fun... When it works...

Hello. I would first like to say thank you for making this game fully VoiceOver Accessible. That is much appreciated in the blind community. This game is very fun and easy to play. However, I do have a small problem. When I try to play games with my friends via Game Center, it only works sometimes. We will either get a loading screen that doesn't go away, or when the game starts, it doesn't show the new game grid, instead it shows the previously finished game screen that has the score from the last game. If this could be fixed, I would rate it a 5,
