Why We Exist
The AI training data market is poised for massive growth, as industries from finance, retail, telecoms, travel and so forth look to take their business to the next level.
While AI technology holds enormous promise, the rewards have accrued to a handful of big tech companies, each of which can leverage thousands of exabytes of consumer data (harvested from their 'free' services) to train their machine learning algorithms. The more data the 'data-opolies' collect, the greater their dominance over the AI marketplace - and the greater the threat to privacy, autonomy, and democratic control.
We founded Synesis One to create a fairer, more open, and more cost-effective ecosystem. Synesis One is community powered, with a governance system that gives stakeholders a voice, to ensure that Synesis One's development reflects the values of the community. Together we will build a Distributed Autonomous Organization that rewards our community members, gives voice to our users, protects individual privacy, and ensures the benefits of AI are available to all humankind. This is the world we all deserve. Let's fight for it.
