This Trick taking game is played between 4 players where Spades is the trump card and all others cards are basic cards. Unlike spades the term "hand" is used instead of trick, and " Call " is used instead of bid.
About Game Play
Dealer gives 13 cards to each player. At the beginning of the game players will bid how many card hands they will win. The game is about winning maximum number of hands but also breaking other people’s bids. This is called call breaking. Points are decided based on how many less or more hands player makes than player’s bid.
Bidding
All four players, starting from the player to dealer's right bid a number of tricks that they must win in that round in order to get a score, otherwise they will get a negative score.
Call Break is believed to be derived from other popular game Called Spades In some part of India its called Lakdi or Lakadi . In Bangladesh and India it is also known as Call Bridge , Ghochi or locha . Spades in United States.
