Return to the original form and you might see success

im saying this with the most respect for your team as someone who was introduced to keek and its original form around 2011 and 2013, there's nothing unique about this app because it's a carbon copy of TikTok which makes me not want to use it its nice that you have decided to keep the platform alive with the original logo and design and all of that, but respectfully, you can't have this platform be active if it's just another TikTok You should do some research to recapture the original purpose for keek. best of luck

Needs a update! NO SOUND! DELETED!!!!!

Almost 4 months later and still no sound on the videos haven’t posted on the app since September and no videos will play any. Sounds ridiculous. AS OF 10-16-2024 there is STILL NO SOUND IN THE ENTIRE APP!!! As of 10-03-2024 there is STILL NO SOUND IN THE ENTIRE APP!!! This app is always crashing.. taking several attempts to upload a single video and now there’s no sounds on ANY of the videos that others and myself have posted!

Depressing

I remember using Keek as a kid in 2013. It was a pretty cool platform for sharing quick videos. Returning now as a software developer, the flaws are glaring and frankly embarrassing. The app interrupts with a modal each time a video ends, disrupting my typing in the comment section. Features like likes and comments cover too much of the screen and hamper visibility. Switching apps briefly causes the volume to shut off, revealing poor management of app state. Also, the platform is overrun with bots in multiple languages, detracting from genuine user interaction. The search functionality feels primitive, limited only to finding users and posts without any intelligent recommendations. It's disappointing to see how far the platform has fallen from its early days.

We hope to improve the application interfaces and become similar to Instagram, and the freedom to choose the username should be one or two letters
