Doesn’t work
Not all the roles would work, as in not showing up as one of the cards when getting roles. These roles include the doctor and journalist and a special mafia. Also, if you’re playing a game of Mafia, your cards need to be secret. So why in this game do the cards show up one after the other? You can see the previous persons role because it doesn’t hide your card after getting your role. To fix this, you could just have the people tap their card again to get rid of it once they know their role. Then the next persons role card will be faced down, and roles would actually be secretive.
