BMI? Really? In 2024?

Very helpful app to help you disarm your bathroom scale. Shows you your trend so you can properly monitor your weight and identify real weight gain from artificial spikes from water weight, constipation, hormones, etc. However the prominent inclusion of a VERY broken metric in BMI in this day and age tells me this developer has never struggled with their weight or been a victim of the outdated rigidity of BMI. I’m not going to explain why BMI is a broken metric, there are plenty of scientific explanations for it out there, I’m just going to say it can be CRUSHING to one’s self esteem to lose 95% of the weight you sought out to lose, only to have this app tell you are still very much “overweight” or even worse “obese”. And there’s no way to avoid seeing this, it’s right there at the bottom of the screen and cannot be switched off. Consider adding an option to disable the inclusion of the BMI metric and this would be a 5 star app worthy of paying for.

Love that I can bring my progress over from Android, surprised this app isn't as popular on IOS
