Mooring and casting off are the maneuvers that cause stress, especially for beginners and inexperienced skippers. We have therefore focused on common situations for boat maneuvers:
• Docking/undocking alongside: a maneuver that occurs practically everywhere, in the harbour, at the jetty or at the gas station.
• Mediterranean Mooring: the typical situation in the Mediterranean, e.g. in Italy or Croatia.
• Docking/undocking on piles/dolphins: found in many harbours, whether on the North Sea, Baltic Sea or in inland areas.
• Anchoring at sea or with bow anchor in the harbour.
Several variants are shown, depending on the wind conditions, starting with the relatively simple situations. They are designed so that even a small crew (2 people) can perform them safely. A must for beginners and advanced skippers, since even a small mistake can be very expensive. This app shows how to do it right.
