As a lifter who values progress tracking and community, Lifta is easily one of the best fitness apps I’ve used. The interface is clean and intuitive, making it simple to log exercises, sets, reps, weight, and even RPE. The ability to see trends, like strength progress or weekly volume by muscle group, is a huge motivator and helps me identify areas to improve. The standout feature is the social component. You can follow friends, see their PRs, and even leave comments or “fist bumps” for encouragement. It turns lifting into a shared experience, which is rare for most fitness apps. I’ve personally found it motivating to track my progress while cheering on my friends. Customization is another strength. Lifta works perfectly for any program, from 5x5 to hypertrophy splits, and allows advanced techniques like supersets and rest-pause sets. The analytics section is also top-notch, offering detailed insights into progress over time. While an offline mode or video form checks could enhance the experience, the app is already an invaluable tool for lifters at any level.
