Los Altos Golf Course
Los Altos is the oldest of the City's four courses, opening in 1960.
The course is built to favor the weekend golfer with a natural slice. In general, the course is intended for relatively fast play.
A foursome could play an 18-hole round in less than 4 hours.
The 9-hole Executive Par 3 Course is designed to satisfy golfers who have only a limited time to play.
Despite the seemingly flat terrain, the course layout features two large lakes, numerous mature trees, and large sand traps.
Los Altos is ideal for the beginner to intermediate golfer. It measures 6,180 yards from the men's tees at par 71, and 5,895 yards from the forward tees at par 74.
Los Altos also features a pro shop, banquet and grill.
Arroyo del Oso Golf Course
Nestled in Bear Canyon Arroyo, this 27-hole Northeast Albuquerque course is noted for its interesting topography.
Arroyo del Oso isn't necessarily a tough course. Its features — which include large greens, rolling fairways, three water-hole obstacles, and sand traps — meet the needs of intermediate and advanced players
The course opened in 1965. A 9-hole addition named "Dam 9" was constructed in 1987, giving Arroyo del Oso its 27 holes.
In 1981, Golf Digest Magazine rated Arroyo del Oso among the top 50 Municipal Golf Courses in the nation.
Golf Center at Balloon Fiesta Park
Practice your golf at one of Albuquerque's premiere practice facilities.
Located North of the Anderson-Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum, enjoy majestic views as you practice your golf skills. Thirty-five lit tee boxes are available with distances up to 400 yards for day or night driving practice.
The Pitch & Putt 6-hole course offers fairways that are 65-185 yards in length, practice putting, and chipping on the greens. Pitch & Putt is a perfect course to learn the basics. The Golf Center offers children's programs that include golf camps, and half-price Pitch & Putt. In the summer, 6-hole, hole-in-one, and longest drive competitions are offered to all.
Puerto del Sol Golf Course
Puerto del Sol is Albuquerque's only golf course featuring a lighted driving range.
Lighted Driving Range open 7 nights a week, Memorial Day until Labor Day. Open until sunset during other times of the year.
Rated an outstanding 9-hole course by the National Golf Foundation, Puerto del Sol includes ample-sized greens and wide tree-lined fairways.
Most holes are straight, and the terrain is flat with the exception of two rolling fairways.
The course is easy to walk, making Puerto del Sol popular with beginner golfers and seniors.
This regular 9-hole course measures 3,030 yards from the championship tees, 2,830 yards from the regulation tees, and 2,525 yards from the forward tee. The 9-hole par is 35 for both men and women.
Ladera Golf Course
Opened in 1980, Ladera features include spacious greens, a broad teeing area and a large driving range tee, roomy practice putting greens, and four large lakes.
Enjoy a golfing challenge on Albuquerque's West Side at Ladera.
Surrounding Ladera are beautiful views of the Sandia Mountains to the east and the volcanoes to the west.
