About Cowlitz Salish Keyboard
Cowlitz Salish Keyboard is the iOS app that lets you type correct Cowlitz Salish into any text area on your iOS mobile device by simply switching into the Cowlitz Salish Keyboard Layout.
1. Open the Cowlitz App
2. Select "Go to Keyboard Settings"
3. Select "Add New Keyboard"
4. Select "Cowlitz Salish"
5. Go back to the App and "Test Keyboard"
6. Tap or Press and Hold the Globe to switch to the "Cowlitz Salish Keyboard"
7. Press and hold letters to see additional Cowlitz Salish characters (hold x to see x', xw...)
Congratulations! Now you can type Cowlitz Coast Salish.
Once installed and selected as a keyboard option, you can switch between Cowlitz Salish and English as you type emails, SMS, MMS, web content, and in any other text-input field. Simply press the GLOBE icon to switch.

this keyboard is good for other salish dialects too, although some things like tʼ doesn’t work too well for our dialect, I like the double tap to switch to english letters, although I would like to type with some capital letters. otherwise, works really good, qʷamqʷmt!
