TutumNet, SafetyNet in Latin, is meant to help those suffering from anxiety and/or depression. Research has found that increasing emotional self-awareness, defined as the ability to identify and understand one’s own emotions, has been shown to reduce mental health symptoms and improve coping skills. This app will allow users to pick and track up to six self-care goals (exercise, meditation, mindfulness, personal hygiene, sleep, and socialization). It will also allow users to select the friends, family and healthcare providers they want in their support network. If the user is missing their goals at an alarming rate TutumNet will reach out to your network via email or text to ask them to reach out to you to help
