This app combines our well-known and reliable Stridalyzer Sensor Insole based gait analysis with vision-based pose and gait analysis, to offer you a one-of-a-kind solution! Using the pressure and motion data from the sensor insoles, and vision data from your iPhone’s camera, the app builds an extremely accurate, real-time model of the forces, motion and position of not only the feet, but the entire body. Using that model, the app can provide exact analysis of the user’s posture, gait, biomechanical forces and its effects, etc. Use the app in your rehab session, for sports performance analysis or for gait research.
The app can work with or without the sensor insoles, using only the vision data if there are no insoles connected.
Please note - the app uses several features and capabilities in your phone that can severely drain your battery.
1. The app connects to the sensor insoles using BlueTooth LE. The app continue to run, will keep the connection, and will continue communicating with the insoles if connected, even in background mode with display off. This will impact the battery life of your phone.
2. The app will use your iPhone’s back camera to capture video for vision-based gait analysis. This feature will only work when the app is in foreground and open.
The vision analysis uses your phone’s machine-learning capabilities, and consumes a significant amount of power. We strongly recommend using the vision analysis capability when your phone is connected to a charger cable, ideally placed on a phone holder/stand.
