The "My USWPS" app provides easy and quick access to vital information necessary for students in their daily studies.
The app includes the following modules:
Class schedule - enables students to check their schedule, which has information on the course name, lecturer, group membership, as well as date and location; from the schedule, students can navigate to Google Classroom; changes to the schedule (classes moved to a different date and cancelled classes), clashes (classes scheduled at the same time) and exams are highlighted in the schedule with coloured boxes; students can check the schedule for a particular field of study; a calendar in pdf or ics format is available for download and can be added to the student's calendar; students can receive push notifications and in-app notifications concerning changes to the class schedule.
Grades - students can check their current and final grades, their average grade and the number of accumulated ECTS credits; they can view grades for the selected field of study and semester; they can receive push notifications and in-app notifications concerning new grades.
Messages - students can read the latest communications divided into four categories: 1. university communications sent by student services departments and the home faculty, 2. notifications of changes to the class schedule, 3. notifications of new grades, 4. information concerning outstanding payments to the university.
Menu - students can use quick links to access the most important functions available in the Virtual University, including enquiries to the Center for Student Affairs, application submissions, certificate downloads, information on fees, and questions and answers search (Knowledge Base); from the menu, students can access Settings and choose their sign-in method, change the app language, enable/disable in-app notifications and push notifications, etc.
The mobile app for students of SWPS University was developed as part of the "My SWPS University" project (BPI/WTP/2021/1/00049), which received funding from the "Welcome to Poland" programme of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (implementation period: May 2022 - April 2023, funding amount: PLN 400,000, source of funding: European Social Fund, funding under the Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development).
