About Resistor Brain
#1 Lifestyle app in the alternate universe ruled by electrical engineers!
But seriously, the application just detects resistors and decodes their resistance from color stripes using camera and a specially trained neural network. In case the detection is not always accurate you also get some special effects to convince you it is a cool app after all. Have fun :-)
Detection accuracy depends on the lighting conditions and the background environment. Flashlight is better than low light but diffused light is usually better than flashlight.
Currently the application is trained to recognize 3- and 4-stripe resistors.
"Inside Brain" does not do anything productive but is included as a curiosity. Here you can see how the input information changes while traveling through various processing stages in the neural network.

Won’t focus
On my 14 pro this app will not autofocus so it never reads the resistance values. Can’t find a way to manually focus either.

Love
Love this developer, sincerely hoping every day of my life that ol’ Sz will one day return to fix the Bike or Die game for ios. Talk about a good game, I often wonder if he was aware of the fact that the players of the game were ready and willing to outright purchase the rights to it from him if ever we could get in touch with him… if you are reading this SZ, make a post on the old forum, there are still Bike a’holics out there wishing we could play again, who would pay money to do so. Hope you are well! -Mr.Pickle
