Borderline criminal
I’m an Avis President’s club member and made a reservation for a car intermediate level with all insurance included. Upon getting there it took 42 minutes for a van to arrive. No one answered our many calls. Other customers were left dangling too. Upon arriving there and waiting in line for an extra 20 minutes we learned that I would have to make a registration with Unidas (which actually owns the place). The contract was completely different from what Avis had agreed to via the online application. We had to cancel the reservation and leave the premises walking with luggage 9:00pm to another rental company. Avis should not be allowed to make rental agreements their partners cannot honor. They ruined our family’s vacation in the process
