A lot of information in easy to use app
I have been using this app for about a year. I use it relating to training I do with machinists and machine operators. It is one of the simplest for people to understand while having enough information to do quality comparisons of cutting conditions. Examples, MRR - metal removal rates calculation (helps qualify if a new machining approach will actually save you time before experimenting) HP - horsepower calculations, allows you to know roughly what power you need to pull a certain tool. Very handy when working with light duty low HP machines. (this part does require using a Chart Sandvik has on their site for material hardness (specific cutting force “kc”) Chip Thickness - quickly calculates adjusted chip load for milling cutters weather having an angled insert (face mill) or taking a light side cut. All needed data is easily input in this app.

Not useful to the noob
Was looking for a replacement to my old Sandvik slide calculator, but the app requires me to know way too much, which I don't. If I did, why would I need this?
