Super Lawyers magazine features the list and profiles of selected attorneys and is distributed to attorneys in the state or region and the ABA-approved law school libraries. Super Lawyers is also published as a special section in leading city and regional magazines across the country. Consumers can rely on Super Lawyers to find an attorney or to validate their choice of an attorney.

Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process is multi-phased and includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations. The objective is to create a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys that can be used as a resource for attorneys and consumers seeking legal counsel. The final published list represents no more than five percent of the lawyers in each state.

Super Lawyers magazine may also include accomplished attorneys who are 40 years old or younger or have been in practice for 10 years or less. Those selected for the Rising Stars list have achieved a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. No more than 2.5 percent are named to the Rising Stars list.
