An ‘enhanced’ app that failed
What a worthless app. At least three times a week, the newspaper fails to load, or insists that I am not logged in just after I have logged in yet again. When it does ‘work’, it is hard to navigate. I keep setting page view preferences and they randomly change to a different view, sometimes in a single session. Bring back the old app, please!

“Improvements” gut Functionality
TLDR: Avoid this app and get Albuquerque Jrnl Print Edition instead. Before the app was “improved” a couple of weeks ago, it was a joy to use. It was easy to pan and zoom the reproductions of the pages from the paper. If I briefly left the app then returned, it would still be on the page I left it on. I never had any problems with getting logged out whenever I changed networks. Now it’s just the opposite and it has become unnecessary strenuous to read my local paper. It is a travesty this obviously bug-ridden update was even written at all. Maybe the Journal thinks they can get away with this being the only game in town. Shame. Protip: I just discovered another app called “Albuquerque Jrnl Print Edition.” It works just like the old version of this app did. Get that one and forget this one ever existed.
