No email; 2 MyWCC’s?
No link to email. There’s a link to Flickr, but not WCC email. Given most instructors use email as the primary form of communication with students, this is a major design flaw. I get that social media is cool and we want to appear cool to students, but I doubt very much that they think this app is, or could be cool, or in fact that they care about that. The only reason I see anyone using the app is if it makes life easier. If it is useful. The name is confusing. MyWCC is a link on the website gateway that leads to things like Banner. None of the faculty links seem to be in the app version. If I tell a student to go to MyWCC to find some information, now I’ll have to specify which MyWCC I’m talking about. It’s a great idea but the implementation needs a lot of work. Right now I think it does more harm than good.

Doesn't Do Much
All it really does is give you links to the website. Pretty pointless if you have a smartphone with Internet access, which you do.
