Buffering , always buffering.
If it could just make it through one show without always buffering. And it always seems to buffer at a point you want to hear. It doesn’t matter if it’s live or a replay it’s always the same. It will just cut out. It also doesn’t wig I’m sitting 3 feet from my router or out walking and it’ll do the same. I do have to say that their website site does the same so it may be something internally.

Lots of Overhead
Hugh’s news commentary is strong and I especially appreciate his discussions on judicial and legal issues. His extensive background in law and politics adds depth. HOWEVER, the podcast contains endless overhead: Hugh’s tiresome promotions of anything Ohio; Hugh’s inane abuses of Duane Patterson (who does a great job filling in on occasion); or the never ending rotation of Hugh’s charity du jour. FURTHERMORE, the mechanics of Salem’s broadcast stink. There are constant short but unexplained broadcast gaps, and commercials frequently begin and overlap news content. Makes me sad to write this. Hugh has a good program but it desperately needs improvements and a better broadcast partner.
