The Cognex Barcode Scanners application reads all major barcode symbologies, including Aztec Code, Codabar, Code 11, Code 25 (Interleaved, Industrial, COOP, Matrix and ITF-14), Code 39, Code 93, Code 128, Data Matrix, DotCode, EAN, ISBN, GS1 DataBar, MaxiCode, MSI Plessey, PDF417, Micro PDF417, Postal Codes, QR Code (Micro and Standard), TELEPEN and UPC barcode types, as well as GS1 sub-types like GS1 QR Code, GS1 Data Matrix and GS1-128.

Almost Perfect
I use this for reading barcodes in a small grocery store I help manage. The app is easy and quick for what I need. The only flaw I’ve found - and this might depend on a setting that I haven’t found yet - is that it will pad an 8-digit SKU up to 12 digits. Unfortunately, our point-of-sale system needs the original 8-digit SKU. Fortunately, the vast majority of our products have 12-digit SKUs, and this app works great for those.

Best no-fuss scanner. Great features.
I normally don’t leave reviews, but this app is perfect. It does exactly what it’s supposed to. No ads in your face. Features I like: - continuous scanner mode - auto google search - targeting mode - scan history - duplicate delay My current setup is “continuous scanning” + “duplicate delay = 5 seconds”. I can scan a bunch of tightly packed codes without locking onto the same one over and over again. Results appear in the UI overlay without notifying me each time. It’s great! It also seems to support a ton of types (like DataMatrix) as well as parsers. I haven’t tried these out yet, but I’ll try them out later when I’m feeling bored. The UPS parser looks interesting. I’m a software developer and I understand this is a demo for their SDK. If I ever need a scanner library, I’m definitely going to look into these guys.
