A really cute, unique app

For those of us interested in Tango or Nuevo Tango music, who love the bandoneon and would like to learn a bit more about this strange and beautiful sounding instrument without shelling out thousands to buy an actual one, this app is very informative. The sound is pretty good, even though it is obviously digitized. Seeing how illogical the keyboards are makes me appreciate the master players of this instrument even more. That’s the beauty of this app. You have to learn 4 different keyboards. The left and right hand are both different, and the bellows in or out makes each keyboard change too. This app lets you simulate all of this. You can’t do dynamics or special effects though. On top of the 4 keyboards is the fact that each keyboard doesn’t lay logically like virtually every other musical instrument on the planet. For instance, on a piano keyboard, you go from low to high, left to right, and all the notes of the scale are basically in a line. On the bandoneon, the notes of the scale jump left, right, up down, zig and zag in seemingly random positions. Wow.
