Simple fast, and secure
This is the kind of application for which you are not aware of the benefits until something goes wrong. Then it's too late. If we weren't aware before Snowden, we should be now. Don't make your competitor's life's easier by failing to protect yourself, and be suspicious if centralized solutions with online servers. Short of not communicating at all, installing this application is the safest bet, in addition to being fast, reliable, and very easy to use.
