Used to be good. Now epic fail
I had this app on my phone from when I first set up the phone 4 years ago. The phone still works well, but I’m moving to a new phone and giving the old one to a family member. I used Copy My Data four years ago to originally set up the phone successfully. Today I update the app and install it on the new phone. The update process showed several versions of the software, but didn’t offer a way to read how they might differ. It didn’t allow me to just copy my photos, it insisted on deleting them. No problem, I won’t need them on the old phone anyway. It seemed to start ok but crashed after copying around 300 MB of photos. I tried again multiple times and it always crashed at about that volume. I tried again with a small set of photos and that worked, but would crash with a large data set. I also had to individually select each photo for the transfer. After getting 5%-10% through my photo library I gave up. Totally useless app.
