At Mattr, we're not just another dating app.

We're here to revolutionise the industry and create a better experience for you. We've seen the data, and it's not good—overwhelming, lack of trust, pessimism, and severe accessibility features. That's why we're asking you to "Date Different" to let you be the real you, without any pressure, in a supportive and protective environment.

Here's how we're going to do that:

Safety comes first for us. Everyone is welcome on Mattr, except for fish of the cat variety! We take the time to verify every single profile that joins our platform, ensuring that people are who they say they are. We have a zero-tolerance policy for problem users, so they won't reenter our community. It's something that should be standard on every app, but we wonder why it isn't.

We believe in relaxed connections. We understand that dating app addiction is a real issue, and that's why we limit your daily profiles to a maximum of seven. Take your time, read through the profiles, and explore what they have to offer beyond the surface. You won't have to deal with mindless swiping either. You can view all seven profiles without any pressure to make an immediate decision. Plus, you can save profiles and come back to them later. No rush, just results!

Inclusivity is at the core of our app. We know that 20% of our users will be neurodiverse, and we're here to support them. Feeling overwhelmed? Use our "Time Out" toggle to hide your profile temporarily and let your matches know you're taking a break. If you want to connect with others in the neurodiverse community, you can add the ND logo to your profile. We also proudly support the LGBTQ+ community with over 10 gender options. Equality is a commitment we stand by.

We understand that not everyone wants the same kind of relationship or the same pace of meeting in person. That's why we offer four different relationship types, from committed to casual. You can also let others know whether you're looking to meet right away or prefer to take your time. We want to help you find someone who's on the same page.

No discriminatory algorithms here. Unlike other dating apps that rely on collaborative filtering, which can perpetuate biases and make certain profiles invisible, we do things differently. We show you profiles based only on your search settings and personality, which we get from your quiz answers. We regularly update these questions, ensuring you can match with someone who shares your thoughts on the latest drama or whether they're definitely a dog person over a cat person.

We're not just about matching; we're about building a community. We work with brand partners to offer perks and discounts to our community members, from affordable beers for picnics to hydration tablets for the day after. And we're committed to educating our audience through content that goes beyond just facilitating matches. Whether it's learning how to date someone with ADHD or discovering the top budget-friendly places to date in London, we're here to help your relationship grow.

We know the importance of offline interactions too. After spending so much time indoors, we're all craving real-life connections. That's why Mattr members have exclusive access to offline events covering various themes. We've got you covered from casual drinks evenings to thought-provoking panel discussions.

At Mattr, we're on a mission to improve online dating. We value your individuality, respect your mental well-being, and we hope you'll join our community of like-minded individuals. We wouldn't be anything without our amazing community.
