About CareLoop PND
CareLoop PND helps new parents to keep track of their mood during pregnancy and after the birth of their baby. The app is currently being tested within the DAWN-P study. DAWN-P stands for Digital Assessment of Wellbeing in New Parents.
The app collects and wirelessly uploads mood data in real-time to a central secure server. People can make diary entries to record information relevant to how they are feeling which adds context and meaning. Graphs displaying mood allow parents and clinicians to track their progress and understand their experiences more clearly.
CareLoop PND has been developed by a team of service users, leading clinicians and academics, software engineers and health professionals at The University of Manchester and NHS Trusts in the North West of England.
