About SAME Mobile

The SAME App is your resource to stay up to date on everything the Society of American Military Engineers offers. Through it, you can get the latest news and features on events happening across the Society; read articles on military engineering and related topics published in The Military Engineer; easily receive updates on SAME programs, events, webinars, and training; access member-only content and resources; chat directly with other members, Posts, and Communities of Interest, and discover other opportunities to get connected, become involved, grow professionally, and stay informed about SAME and the A/E/C profession.
Founded in 1920, in the aftermath of World War I, SAME serves to build leaders and lead collaboration among government and industry to develop multidisciplined solutions to national security infrastructure challenges. The Society unites public and private sector individuals and organizations from across the architecture, engineering, construction, environmental, facility management, cybersecurity, project planning, contracting and acquisition, and related disciplines in support of national security.
With a National Office in Alexandria, Va., and 100 Posts (chapters) located around the world, SAME provides members with extensive opportunities for training, education, and professional development through a robust offering of conferences, workshops, forums, networking events, publications, webinars, and other member-driven programs. With a membership that includes recent service academy graduates and retired military officers, enlisted personnel and NCOs, project managers, corporate executives, academic leaders, uniformed and public sector professionals, and private sector experts, SAME bridges the gaps between critical stakeholders to help secure our nation and produce impactful results through leader development and industry-government engagement.
In 2016, the SAME Foundation was established as a separate arm of the Society with a compelling purpose of “fostering engineering leadership for the nation.” Today, the SAME Foundation serves an invaluable philanthropic role by investing in programs that provide Society members, America’s youth, veterans, and others within the engineering community unmatched opportunities to develop and grow both personally and professionally.
