Welcome to HouSynax! This app is a synthesizer. But before using, please read the below describe and make sure to enable fullscreen mode for the best experience.
1. Controls:
- Rotate Knobs: Drag the knob with a finger or an Apple pencil to rotate it. You can drag vertically, horizontally or both at once.
- Reset Control: Double tap a control to reset it to the default value.
- Piano: Press a key to play a note. You can slide your finger in the indicated zone to show more octaves. C notes are marked with a "C" and the octave number. You can also modulate parameters while playing.
- Playing:You can play up to 8 notes at once.
2. Oscillators
The app contains two oscillators, each of which having different parameters. Here is an explanation of what they are doing:
- Semi:The oscillator played note offset.
- Oct:The oscillator played octave offset.
- Amplitude:Adjusts the oscillator amplitude.
- Tuning:Tunes the oscillator frequency.
- Waveform:Selects the oscillator rendered waveform.
- Formula:See the below formula parser section.
- Toggle:Enables / disables the oscillator.
- Panic:Instantly stops all of the signals generated by the oscillator.
3. Envelopes
Each of the oscillators has an ADSR envelope. Envelopes also have parameters that can be modulated.
Attack:Determines how long it takes for the oscillator to reach its maximum amplitude.
Decay:Determines how long it takes for the oscillator to reach the sustain amplitude.
Sustain:The amplitude at which the oscillator will stay after the decay phase.
Release:Determines how long it takes for the oscillator to reach 0 from the sustain amplitude.
