VoisIT

VoisIT is an ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition) app. Emerging from the combined efforts of the Ravnur team, including linguists and contributions from Faroese speakers, and then model training by Carlos Daniel Hernández Mena. VoisIT aims to bridge the communication gap for those with hearing difficulties, currently particularly for the Faroese. Transforming voice to text, VoisIT offers the opportunity to show what’s being said, and to copy and paste transcriptions, aiding in efficient communication.
Brought to life with dedication and contemporary technology, VoisIT aspires to enhance how you connect with the audible world. While our technology is advanced, we recommend optimal audio and microphone conditions for best results. Recording with background noise may not produce good results.
