The 5 main breathing exercises are:

5.5 Breathing: inhale deeply through your nose for 5.5 seconds, and exhale through your mouth for 5.5 seconds. It is often used to help reduce stress and anxiety.

Alternate Nostril Breathing: breathe alternatively through your left and right nostrils while using your thumb and index finger to close the opposite nostril. This exercise can balance your nervous system, enhance your mood, and clear your sinuses.

Box Breathing: breathe in, hold, breathe out, and hold for equal counts of 4 seconds. This technique can improve your focus and performance under stress.

4-7-8 Breathing: breathe in for 4 seconds, hold for 7 seconds, and breathe out for 8 seconds. 4-7-8 breathing can help you fall asleep faster and reduce insomnia.
