To address this challenge, this app provides optional real-time annotation of all cardiac chambers and large vessels, for any orientation chosen by the user. This way, clear anatomic references can be made available all the time, without losing focus on the 2-dimensional imaging plane.
This app will provide you with a user interface similar to a traditional TEE control module. It recognises 28 standard TEE views, and notifies the user automatically when they are correctly displayed. It also offers an Assistance function, which shows the user which parameters have been set correctly and which ones still need to be adjusted to correctly show any of the standard views. These features make this application a great tool to improve your TTE skills, without time contraints, and anywhere you can use your iPhone.
