Simple changes could make it better

The Kidoodle 3D Printer app has significant usability and functionality issues that make it frustrating to use. There are spelling errors throughout the app, which gives it an unpolished feel. Searching for items is difficult because there are no keyword tags—results only appear if you use the exact wording. The filtering options are also extremely limited, making it hard to find what you’re looking for. One major issue is that changes made in the app don’t reliably send to the printer. For example, nozzle temperature settings cannot be adjusted through the app at all, which limits control and flexibility. Another ongoing problem is that the app often gets stuck showing an item as “printing” even after the print is complete. When this happens, it won’t allow anything else to be sent to the printer. We have tried everything to fix this—turning the printer off, closing the app, ending the print within the app, unbinding the printer, and even deleting and reinstalling the app—and the error still remains. Additionally, the app does not allow basic file adjustments like scaling prints up or down, which is a standard feature in many 3D printing apps. Overall, the app feels unfinished and unreliable. With better search functionality, proper printer communication, basic editing tools, and bug fixes, it could be much improved.
