A delight to use
I hesitated between 4 or 5 stars (given that the app is still in development and the developer is in contact with me on upcoming improvements). Since I use Minders every day, I went ahead with 5 stars. It is a joy to explore the posts I've made, photos I've snapped, and the links I've saved. I love the UI/UX of the app - it is painless to find quick notes that were posted just yesterday or 1 month ago. The shuffle feature to see random posts is something that gives me 'surprise' so I'm a big fan of that. Minders has given me a private space in both iOS and Mac for my thoughts, quotes, ideas - all easily organized by tags. Thank you Allen Ussher! I look forward to seeing new things added without compromising the simplicity of Minders.

My favorite capture app.
I’m always searching for the best place to put things I want to save and connect but not necessarily process as in a PKM app. I like the idea of a social feed ui. It makes sense and is intuitively obvious.

I like the concept
I can see the value of a dumping ground for things of interest. Several apps in this space, but I like the UI of Minders. I just wish that on the Mac there was a really simple way to get stuff into it. Maybe a keyboard shortcut or a browser extension would help. Having all data private and in iCloud I LOVE…

need to be able to use without icloud enabled
it would be great to be able to use this and have it all save to a folder as an option. but it only works if you have icloud enabled

My dream app!
For years, I’ve been on the lookout for an “antisocial media” app that captures the coziness and convenience of posting on social media while keeping your thoughts to yourself, and more importantly, your device. But alas, I had been unable to find it… Until now! And what an app this is. The Tumblr-esque interface offers a nostalgic touch that, somehow, manages to be incredibly functional for solo use: the like button is repurposed into a “favorite” button that puts your post in a special feed, replies/threads allow you to link related posts together, and media type/hashtags allow you to categorize posts for your perusal. Because these features are so familiar to those who have used social media before, it’s incredibly intuitive and runs fantastically in my limited experience. Of course, this could use more features, but as of this review, what IS available right now lays a solid foundation for what will (hopefully) come later. This is a long-winded way of saying that I’m so, SO happy I found this app and I sincerely hope to see it grow, even if it is, for now, a small niche. To the developer, thank you!!! I’m so glad I stumbled upon this hidden gem.
