Slam Jam was founded in Ferrara (IT) in 1989 and it was born to serve the underground. It pioneered streetwear, before it even had a name, while operating outside the European fashion system as a rebel organization.

Apart from being Italy’s first importer of then-unknown brands such as Stussy, it has now become a guide for tribes of like minded people.
Thanks to honing its own unique style through art, music, lifestyle and clubbing, Slam Jam is now globally recognized as a cultural institution that leverages its credibility to promote the style and attitudes of urban subcultures.

Slam Jam's catalogue reflects years spent on the scene. International players (e.g. Nike) and local ones (e.g. Cormio) coexist. Its deep connection with the Japanese fashion system is evident throughout the portofolio, worth noting that a coveted project like Jun Takahashi's Undercover has been supported since day one.
