Make Adjustments
This app could be so much better with the adjustment of some of the program features. Instead of the officer needing to be assigned to a specific group by a coordinator, the program should be designed to be seen by all when a job is created and posted. Specifically, anyone within that jobs demographic location/region should be able to see the available posting. With the option to limit who can see the postings. This was a feature that was utilized on a similar app (we’ll just refer to as Roll Call Tek). Since Protos acquired both, then they should get with the developers and model this after that or make some minor changes. Definitely for the better. From a coordinator’s perspective this current app, isn’t it. With the other one, it gave the coordinator so much more admin access that could make things much more efficient. Modifying shifts, adjusting times, pay, assigning shifts etc. It also helped staffed an open shift faster and in return that benefits the client. The client is the main objective that we want to take care of.

Job posting don’t send notifications
I have my settings to allow notifications in the app and on my phone. When a new job is posted there is no push notification. If you are looking for a job you just have to keep opening the app every 30 minutes to see if anything has been posted. Once I have been selected for a job I get push notifications about being assigned, unassigned, shift starts in two hours, etc. but the posting of a new job isn’t pushed out.
