Engaging — Like Real Pokemon Go!

I love iNaturalist, and have used it as well as Seek for a few years. For me, it’s a lot like a game, like if Pokemon Go was about real flora/fauna/fungi! I love to use it when I go on trips to explore what new environments have to show me, but I also love to be a part of my local naturalist communities, documenting and appreciating what makes my home special! It could be great for getting kids to engage with their environment more, especially if they usually prefer mobile games (i’m looking at you, Ipad-kid parents.)

Canon camera photos won’t upload

My photos that I take with my Canon camera won’t upload. This problem has been present for months on end. I’ve talked via email with tech support to no avail. The strangest problem is that all of my photos are set to England’s time zone, but I’m in Alabama. It’s not my camera, because the iNat Classic app works perfectly fine. For what I use it for, the new app is nearly worthless for me.

Poor Quality

I will take a pic of a bird and the app will say its a bird like i already knew that I took a pic of a deer and it told me its in the family of whales like its not very accurate at all when it does work its great tho

Too difficult.

Doesn’t show up on your own projects. No way can I tell people how to ID. Don’t need all those extra graphics! Hate it. Won’t use it.

Doesnt work

Just straight up doesnt work. Looks great and would definitely be an improvement over classic if the app worked. Freezes every time I tap anything and has for months. Sticking to classic lol
