Dubious Reader
Fun game, but definitely still in the works
I have not played very far, so this review is only concerning the first few hours of play. Once things start to snowball the game gets more fun. At the beginning it is not, and small things kill your men easily. Overall I liked the game but without some changes it just isn’t worth the space for me. Targeting system needs some tweaks. Rather than attacking nearest blocks units should prioritize enemy units. Enemy units frequently get several free hits the way it is now. Consider adding threat values in whatever system calculates targets for soldiers. Recommend allowing players to choose the formation in the beginning of a new zone, allowing weaker soldiers to avoid being in the center of combat. Recommend a targeting mechanic: players tap on a block and unit targeting in a small area is overridden to attack that block. Or alternatively pick individual soldiers’ targets. Putting in any of this will make the game a lot better QOL-wise and let the game be more about strategy than luck, even in the early stages before the player gets significant stat advantages.

Worst game I ever played
this game pisses me off so bad, the troops take forever to fight back and sometimes they just completely ignore the enemy, especially in the second episode. My other complaint is that things get expensive way too fast so you’re basically forced to watch ads if you wanna make the experience enjoyable. I had to watch like 5 ads just to get to the next episode
