Ads, Ads, ADS!!!

I understand that the games are provided free of charge on Apple BUT I would rather pay A REASONABLE PRICE to purchase a game than watch ad after ad after ad! I am OLD (in my mid 70’s) and quite frankly, I don’t know how much longer I will be on this earth or even able to play games on my iPad. Granted NONE OF US know how much time we are going to be living, I lost my baby brother just after his 32nd birthday and that has been a huge hole in my heart for over 40 years! I say that to say that NEITHER OF US thought his time on this earth would be so short. That tragedy really impressed upon me that time is truly precious and I should not waste it, really none of us should but hopefully that lesson will come to people in a much less painful experience. I guess I have gone the long way around in order to say that I would rather pay a reasonable amount ($6.99 OR LESS!) in order to purchase a game, which I enjoy playing and play fairly often than sit through ad after ad after ad. Just so the advertisers know I make a note of EACH AD which interrupts MY QUIET ENJOYMENT of a game to try and get me to download their game. I make said note to ensure that I will NEVER download their game, free or not! As I already stated, I’m old and commercials, be they written or spoken, ARE DISRUPTIVE. If I am interested in playing a different game I know how to go to the Apple Store and find what I might be interested in. I rarely get to leave my home anymore, both due to age and infirmities but I still enjoy enough of my facilities to figure out how to do things, particularly those which DON’T require a large output of physical activity. I have purchased multiple games which I enjoy AND which fall within my price guidelines. I have played some games I enjoyed but the developers obviously thought EXTREMELY HIGHLY of their games, especially one in particular which had a purchase price of $14.99! Just that asking price had me offended for several days. I mean it’s a downloadable game and there’s NO GUARANTEE the developer will continue to do maintenance, make upgrades or anything else. That’s great that someone thinks SO HIGHLY of their work but, seriously, are you TRYING to recoup ALL THE EXPENSES for your efforts off the 10 people you can get to pay for your game…especially when it remains FREE OF CHARGE, on the Apple Store??!!! Obviously, based upon the game’s current rating of 4.9 most people who play this game don’t have any, or much of an issue, with the number of ads or anything else. BUT, THAT’S the beauty of America, everyone has the same right to express their opinion, as long as you don’t violate any slander or any of the other laws which govern your ability to express your opinions. I personally am DONE with the excessive (to me) number of ads I am subjected to by virtue of playing a “free game”. Yes, before any, or all of you, take to the keyboard to tell me that I don’t have to play the game if I don’t want to watch all the ads. Yeah, don’t waste your breath or my time (not that I will be back to read the comments or other reviews) I KNOW THAT but it’s STILL MY RIGHT to express my opinion about how I feel about the excessive number of ads I (and others, but they have to complain for themselves) am essentially forced to watch for this “free” game. It’s probably my age but I seem to remember that “free” meant actually free without strings or charge, even though the charge might only be time. When I was young (and probably extremely foolish) I am sure I wasted more time than a little bit! Yeah to all of you who feel the need, don’t bother…I KNOW how and where to find other games which don’t involve such an investment of my time, NEEDLESSLY!!!
